Grenada County Economic Development District (GCEDD) is the lead economic development organization for Grenada, Mississippi. GCEDD was created under state statute 19-9-11 by the Grenada County Board of Supervisors.

A board of directors focuses on the following goals:

  • Attract viable industrial employers to bring jobs and revenue to the city and county.
  • Develop and implement a plan for broad economic growth in the city and county.
  • Coordinate collaboration among various boards, councils, and private, city, county, and state entities involved in or interested in industrial development projects.

GCEDD activities are guided by executive director, Matthew Harrison, and the board of directors.
